Brand Video Production in Dallas
Brand films about the why behind your business. We sit down with the people who built it, film the work they’re proud of, and cut a story your customers will remember.
Brand storytelling
Every good story starts with connection
That line sits at the top of our homepage, and on a brand film it’s the whole job. A brand video isn’t a list of services. It’s why you started, what you care about, and why people keep coming back. You already know that story. Most businesses just haven’t had anyone sit down and pull it out of them on camera.
That’s where we come in. We work like a tribe: collaborative, instinctive, and committed to the story we’re telling together. We’re not here to overcomplicate things or blow smoke. We talk to your people, listen for the parts that ring true, and build the film around them. When you’ve got the right people in the room, the story mostly tells itself.
What goes into a brand film
Real people. Real work.
Founder interviews
Why you started, what almost didn’t work, what you’d tell a customer over lunch. In your words, not a copywriter’s.
Team & company culture
The people your customers actually deal with. A good company culture video is mostly just letting them talk.
Customer voices
People who’ve bought from you, saying the things you can’t say about yourself without it sounding like bragging.
B-roll of the work
The kitchen, the shop floor, the job site, the hands on the product. The footage that shows the story is true.
Where it gets used
One film, a lot of jobs
A commercial has 30 seconds to make an offer. A brand film has a different job: it earns trust before anyone asks for anything. That makes it useful almost everywhere people are deciding whether to work with you.
- Your homepage and About page, where new customers size you up
- Sales pitches and decks, so the room meets your team before you do
- Recruiting, because good people want to know what they’re signing up for
- Social media, cut down into shorter clips from the same interviews
That last one matters. Once the interviews and b-roll are shot, a 30-second cutdown is editing time, not another shoot day. If you want a steady stream of short videos on top of it, look at our monthly social media video packages.
How it works
Listen. Film. Tell it straight.
Listen. We start with a call about your business, who you’re trying to reach and what you want them to feel. Then we pick the people to interview and write the questions together.
Film. We roll in with pro cameras, good lighting and a clear plan. Setup takes about an hour, so we build the day around it. Nobody memorizes lines. We walk each person through it and keep it relaxed, then film the work happening around them.
Tell it. We find the story in the interviews, build it out with b-roll, music and titles, and work through rounds of revisions with you until it feels like you.

Who’s behind the camera
A business guy who loves making videos
Cameron Mosier started his first production company in 2011 while he was studying finance at Baylor. He never took a film class. He learned the craft on real shoots, then moved to Dallas in 2014 and built Tribal the hard way: cold calls, small jobs and a lot of referrals.
That background helps on a brand film. We know what it takes to start something, keep it going and get people to care about it, so we ask the questions that get to the good stuff. Coca-Cola and Kroger have trusted us with their stories, and a local barbecue joint gets the same attention. More about us.

Straight talk on cost
What a brand film costs
We publish our rates. A full shoot day is $2,000, a half day is $1,500, an assistant is $1,000, and editing is $150 an hour.
A 2-minute video typically takes about 6 hours of editing. So a 2-minute brand film shot in one full day comes to roughly $2,900 ($2,000 for the day plus 6 hours of editing). Brand films lean on interviews, and working through several of them can add editing time. A second location, an extra shoot day or an assistant on set adds to it too. You’ll know the number before anything gets booked.

“I’ve worked with Tribal Video on numerous projects and I can’t express enough how talented, professional, knowledgeable, and streamlined every experience has been. They have consistently exceeded expectations at bringing my visions to life and have been super collaborative and helpful throughout every process. I would highly recommend Tribal Video to anyone who is looking to produce high quality video content.”
Brand video FAQs
What is a brand film?
A brand film is a short, documentary-style video about who you are and why you do what you do. It’s usually built from interviews with the people behind the business, cut together with footage of the work itself. A commercial asks for the sale. A brand film gives people a reason to care first. If you need the ad, see TV and commercial production.
How much does brand video production cost in Dallas?
Our rates are published: $2,000 for a full shoot day, $1,500 for a half day, $1,000 for an assistant, and $150 an hour for editing. A 2-minute video typically takes about 6 hours of editing, so a 2-minute brand film shot in one full day comes to roughly $2,900. More interviews, more locations or a second shoot day add to that, and we’ll give you the number before anything is booked. See video production pricing.
Who should be in our brand video?
Usually the founder or owner, a few people from the team, and a customer or two who can speak to what it’s like to work with you. We’ll help you pick. Nervous on camera is fine. We keep the shoot relaxed and walk everyone through it.
How long should a brand video be?
Long enough to tell the story and not a second longer. For a homepage, a couple of minutes is plenty. Because the interviews and b-roll are already shot, we can also cut shorter versions for social media from the same footage, billed at our editing rate.
Do we need a script?
No. Brand films work best when people talk in their own words, so we build them from interviews instead of lines to memorize. We write the questions with you ahead of time, and the story comes out of the answers in the edit.
What’s the difference between a brand video and a corporate video?
They overlap. A brand film is about the why behind your business and is usually made for customers. Corporate video covers the rest of the company’s needs, like training, recruiting and leadership updates. See corporate video production.
Can you film at our location?
Yes. A brand film usually looks best where the work actually happens: your shop, kitchen, office or job site. We’re based in Dallas, shoot all over Dallas–Fort Worth, and travel for projects outside Texas too.
