Product & Explainer Videos in Dallas
No cartoons of your product. We film the real thing, doing the real job, so your customers can see exactly how it works before they buy it.
Live-action explainer videos
Show the product. Not a drawing of it.
Search for explainer video production and you’ll find a page full of animation studios. That works fine if you sell an app. If you sell a machine, a tool, a generator or something that goes on a shelf, a cartoon version of it leaves your buyer wondering what the real one looks like.
We’re a live-action crew. We bring pro cameras and good lighting to your shop floor, warehouse or studio and film your product doing what it does. Sparks, moving parts, the before and after, the person who designed it explaining why it’s built that way. Then we cut it into a video that answers your customers’ questions before they have to ask.
That’s been the job for manufacturers like PushCorp, equipment brands like Herc Generators and consumer brands like Organic Rein. The same approach works for tech products and electronics, and for contractors who want to show their work up close.

Product launches
A short, punchy cut for the launch, plus the longer walkthrough for your website and sales team.
Graphics & animation
On-screen callouts, captions, voiceover and animated elements layered over the real footage when the story needs them.
Live action or animation?
When filming the real thing wins
We’re not going to tell you animation is never the answer. If you’re explaining software, a financial product or something microscopic, it can be the right call. But for physical products, live action has a few things going for it.
It builds trust. People believe what they can see. Watching a robot arm grind metal and throw sparks does more than any illustration can.
It shows scale and quality. The finish, the weight, the size next to a person. Those details are hard to fake in animation and easy to capture on camera.
It puts your people in it. A video with your own engineer or owner explaining the product says a lot about the company behind it.
And you don’t have to pick one. We can add graphics or animated elements on top of live footage to label parts, show specs or explain what’s happening inside.
How it works
From the shop floor to the final cut
Plan. We start with what the video needs to do: sell, train, support or launch. Then we go through the product with you, figure out which features matter to buyers, and plan the shots and talking points.
Shoot. We come to your facility with the cameras, lights and audio, get set up, and film the product in action along with anyone who’s speaking on camera. All you have to do is show up and run the machine.
Cut. We edit it together with music, titles and any graphics or voiceover, then work through a couple of rounds of revisions with you. You also get all your raw footage, backed up on Dropbox.

Straight talk on cost
What a product video costs
We publish our rates. A full shoot day is $2,000, a half day is $1,500, an assistant is $1,000, and editing is $150 an hour.
A 2-minute video typically takes about 6 hours of editing. So a single product filmed in one location, with a 2-minute edit, comes to roughly $2,400 on a half-day shoot or about $2,900 on a full day. If you have a whole product line, film it all in one day and cut a video for each one; you pay for the shoot once and the editing per video. Custom animation and voiceover add to the edit, and we’ll quote all of it before anything is booked.
Product & explainer video FAQs
Should our explainer video be live action or animation?
If your product is something people can see and touch, film it. Live action shows the real thing doing the real job, and buyers trust that. Animation makes more sense for software, ideas, or parts you can’t physically get a camera inside. Plenty of videos use both: live footage of the product with graphics or animation layered on top to show what’s happening under the hood.
How much does a product video cost in Dallas?
Our rates are published: $2,000 for a full shoot day, $1,500 for a half day, $1,000 for an assistant and $150 an hour for editing. A 2-minute video typically takes about 6 hours of editing, so a half-day product shoot plus a 2-minute edit comes to roughly $2,400. Custom animation, voiceover or several product lines add to that, and we’ll quote it up front. See video production pricing.
Can you film in our plant or warehouse while it’s running?
Yes, and that’s often where the best footage is. Tell us your site’s safety rules and the times the equipment will be running, and we’ll plan the shoot around your schedule instead of the other way around.
Who explains the product on camera?
Usually someone from your team who knows it inside and out, like an engineer, product manager or owner. We’ll write the talking points with you and walk them through it so they’re comfortable. If nobody wants to be on camera, a voiceover over product footage works well too.
Can you add graphics, captions or animation?
Yes. If your video needs voiceover, captions, special animation or graphics, we’ll have those pieces created and built into the final edit. Callouts that label parts or show specs on screen are a common one for product videos.
Can we use the footage for other things?
Please do. One product shoot can feed a website video, a trade show loop, sales emails and short clips for social. We also send you all your raw footage and back it up on Dropbox, so it’s there whenever you need it.
